Popular veteran winner over C&D on his sole visit here in this contest 12 months ago. Winning jockey back on for double bid.

Age: 11|  Weight: 11-11| J: Mr T Joseph Kelly(7)| T: T P O'Connor| OR:  124| D
11/1
Running well in defeat in a good number of point-to-point starts since the turn of the year before finishing third of six in a Killarney hunter chase last month. Needs a couple of these to falter.

Ajijic21
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-7| J: Mr M J O'Connor| T: T Leonard| D
33/1
Four-race maiden over the larger obstacles. Back with trainer who coaxed two point-to-point wins out of him last season but recent form suggests he may struggle.

All Hell Let Loosep36
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-7| J: Mr T D Hyde(7)| T: T E Hyde| OR:  132
10/3
Modest 130-rated handicap chaser for trainer Henry De Bromhead previously and has recently been seen running well in defeat in a number of point-to-point starts since the turn of the year. Best watched for new yard unless market vibes speak.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-7| J: Mr N Bashford(7)| T: P J Rothwell| D
25/1
Winner on latest point-to-point start in December, but nothing to suggest anything other than a struggle when last seen under rules in a Roscommon beginners contest in August.

Age: 8|  Weight: 11-7| J: Mr E Dwan(7)| T: A J Martin
25/1
Raced keenly on hunter chase debut at Punchestown over 2m4f last month before falling at the fifth. Easy to look elsewhere but may be of interest if making any market move.

Drawn N Drank8
Age: 13|  Weight: 11-7| J: Mr Turlough O'connor(7)| T: E M O'Sullivan| OR:  114| D
33/1
Distance winning veteran who has been struggling to win in a number of point-to-point contests since the turn of the year including when second of three last month and may find this a tough assignment too.
Modest in the point-to-point ranks and had dropped to the rear on hunter chase debut at Killarney last month when falling four out. Needs to improve here.

Mount Colah16
Age: 13|  Weight: 11-7| J: Mr N McParlan(5)| T: S McParlan| OR:  125| D
6/1
Nothing of note in a number of sporadic and inconsistent visits to the track. Not seen under rules for over two years and others preferred for win purposes.

Rolling Revengeh,t16
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-7| J: Mr C W McCormack(7)| T: Thomas Coyle| OR:  102
25/1
Poor form in his last couple of starts between the flags and remains an eight-race maiden over the larger obstacles. Needs to bounce back in a big way to play a role.
12
Horse silk
14/1
Running well in a number of recent starts in the point-to-point field including getting off the mark at the ninth attempt last month. Looks a future prospect and could go well at a price.
13
Horse silk
66/1
Bumper, hurdle and point-to-point winner but there has been over two years between drinks and the veteran is unlikely to be improving at this stage of his career.
14
Horse silk
12/1
Landed a minor shock as the one time point-to-point winner won a Punchestown hunter chase at odds of 14/1 last month over 2m4f. Plenty more needed stepping up in trip.

Verdict

The gallant and popular veteran ON THE FRINGE won this race 12 months ago over C&D and can complete the double following up on a fine second at Killarney last month. The J J Hanlon-trained, Rewritetherules can emerge as the biggest danger as he attempts a hat-trick of wins inside a month following success at Down Royal and Tipperary last month. All Hell Let Loose, Sea Light and Flirting Lesa can battle for the minor honours.
