C&D winner last summer, could easily be 3-3 from around here bar couple of slender runner-up efforts (hurdles/chase). Warmed up with good spin over timber at Wexford in April and likely much more at home now.
Very easy winner over 2m4f around here in April on third start over fences and not disgraced in much stronger Punchestown contest (2m5f, yielding; 13-2) next time. Mare can go well back here with longer trip no barrier.
1-13 record over fences does not trigger enthusiasm for the Milan mare. Better over hurdles than she is fences and needs to find significant improvement following a number of poor efforts since return in April and has work to do with Allee Bleue.
Winner at Wexford last year over similar trip on good ground, has run well at this track before and should be in good order for this following two recent outings on the Flat.
Fairly useful hurdler without a win in four starts over fences. Fell at Navan on latest start in March and while has low miles on the clock, will certainly need to improve on form.
Six-race maiden over fences for Phillip Hobbs, much best effort for this trainer when close-up third over 2m4f here last month on third run for the yard (winner won again since). Upped in journey now and commands a look after effort.
Still awaiting a breakthrough success after 12 chase starts, putting in as many poor efforts as good ones. Ran fair race at Punchestown (3m, good) latest but others seem more likely again.
Good third of 11 in a handicap chase at Punchestown (3m, good to soft; 25-1) 18 days ago sporting first-time tongue tie (retained) with Hugo 'n Taz behind in fifth. Must build on that effort.
Forecasts
Freewheelin Dylan (3/1), Allee Bleue (3/1), Gracemount (9/2), Stoneford (7/1), Don't Let Go (8/1), Hugo 'n Taz (8/1), Jaime Sommers (14/1), Adimelo (20/1)
Plenty in with chances seemingly. Top-weight Freewheelin Dylan loves this track and should run another big race having blown off the cobwebs last time over timber while Allee Bleue ran well on third start for Gordon Elliott here over shorter 16 days ago and is feared up in trip with that form franked by the winner already. The mare GRACEMOUNT gets the nod though. She was an easy course winner in April over shorted and has since run a good race in better company at Punchestown. A point-to-point winner, this trip will hold no fears and she can prove hard to beat. Adimelo is another to consider back chasing.
- Gracemount
- Allee Bleue
- Freewheelin Dylan
