Just the sole success from 21 starts under this code, was out of form over hurdles at Tipperary 24 days ago and may be best watched now tackling fences for the first time in public.
Gelding by Robin Des Champs out of a Supreme Leader mare. Has hit the frame in two of his three point-to-point starts but failed to spark on rules debut in a Down Royal hunter chase contest in March. Vast improvement needed.
Mixed messages in point-to-points when trained by Thomas Farrell. Soundly beaten despite cheekpieces (discarded here) on yard debut and hard to fancy this afternoon.
Completed a hat-trick of runner-up finishes when picked off by speedy Wicklow Brave on the run to the line at Ballinrobe this week (2m1f, good; 11-2). Should be right in the firing line again.
11-race maiden, failing to hit the frame in any start to date, including on chasing debut at Ballinrobe last month (2m1f, good; 80-1) beaten 57L and a lot of ground to make up with Cliff House as such. Hard to make a case.
Narrow winner of a Killarney handicap hurdle (2m6f, good; 10-1) last time off a mark of 122. Trainer's runners often improve for going chasing and booking of Davy Russell a help. Notable.
Poor maiden hurdler (0-9) who has won four times on the Flat but appears not to have transferred her ability on the level to jumping and seems unlikely winner now meeting fences for the first time.
Fair hurdler, with one win in 11 attempts. Must defy 330-day absence now starting out over fences for new handler. Watching brief.
Lightly-raced sort, ran in a hot beginners' chase at Leopardstown over Christmas and was well beaten off by the end. Off since and this appears to be more realistic target, watch betting.
124-rated hurdler with three wins from 15 attempts. Made decent first of chasing on first try at Punchestown (2m, good; 14-1) when 7L third of five behind Farclas. Longer trip should suit and can build on that effort here.
His second of four in an Ayr novice chase over 3m on good to soft in February put the Oscar gelding in a decent light, though he swerved and unseated approaching first at Wexford 11 days ago on sole start since. 0-4 over fences now.
Couple of falls last summer in early chasing endeavours but ended the autumn going the right way with pair of placed efforts at Killarney and Listowel over around 2m6f. Entitled to go well if stripping fit enough.
4-8 over timber, including Grade 3 Mares' Novice at Limerick in March. Faller at Fairyhouse in Grade 1 when last out in April. Chase bow top connections and much-respected.

The claims of Robin De Carlow on chase bow should be decent, given she landed a Grade 3 Novice contest over timber earlier in the spring and represents the champion trainer/champion jockey combination. Preference however is for CLIFF HOUSE, a model of consistency in three recent runner-up finishes over these obstacles and only denied at Ballinrobe this week by the remarkable Wicklow Brave's speed of foot after the last. St Lawrence Gap made a pleasing start at Punchestown and should build on it while the returning pair Wonderoftheworld and Red Jack merit a betting check.
