27 race maiden has finished runner-up the last twice most recently when beaten a neck over 2m7f at Worcester (good) just over a week ago. Promising amateur in the saddle and is one for the shortlist in this contest.
Debuted for this yard with a second in a novices' handicap hurdle over an extended 2m at Market Rasen (good) last month. One to note stepping up in distance.
C&D winner registered effort when 6L second in a handicap chase over an extended 2m5f at Fontwell (good) last month. Placed over hurdles the time before and has an interesting jockey booking on this occasion.
Beaten 13L when finishing fourth over an extended 2m in a handicap hurdle at Doncaster (good) in December. Unraced since and others hold stronger claims.
Returned to form with a victory in a novices' selling hurdle over an extended 2m at Stratford (good) last month. Well beaten off this mark on her penultimate start but has a top amateur in the saddle for this event.
Beaten 31L in a 2m2f handicap chase at Fontwell (good) in September 2017. Had wind surgery since but probably best watched on debut for this yard.
Forecasts
Cottonvale (11/8), Bantiss Jack (5/2), Lee Side Lady (7/2), Angel Of The North (5/1), Presenting Streak (20/1), Houseparty (33/1)
COTTONVALE can go one better than when finishing runner-up on his two most recent starts to break his maiden in this amateur riders contest. The selection should have no issues dropping in trip and he can get the better of Bantiss Jack who ran well on debut for this yard last time out while third place can go to Lee Side Lady who ran well in a chase on her most recent start.
