Generally consistent last year but was disappointing on his reappearance for new connections at Newmarket in early May. Could well have needed that run and expected easier ground here will help as will step up in trip.
Did not have to be near his best to win at Pontefract three start ago and has run two good races in defeat since. Never raced on ground slower than good but expect this colt to run a big race for his in-form trainer.
Won fairly impressively on his reappearance at Redcar 30 days ago. Up 6lbs for that win and that could be what stops him getting competitive in a tricky event to forecast.
Not disgraced in two decent events at Newcastle and York this season. Needs to show a more but will be suited by this trip and not inconvenienced by an easy surface (won on soft ground as a two-year-old).
Kept busy last season and through the winter winning twice at Chelmsford over ten furlongs. Step up in trip is an unknown but stable respected at this track and obvious possibilities.
Handicap debut. Needs to improve on his Brighton win in May on fast ground to play a leading role but obviously open to improve and will relish this longer trip.
Ran some fair races without getting his head in front last season and warmed up for this with fair effort over 1m4f at Wolverhampton 19 days ago. Needs to improve again but should be fitter for that recent run.
In and out performer but would hold a decent chance if reproducing the form he showed to finish 2nd at Doncaster on his reappearance this season. Disappointed last time at York. Not one to rely upon but not one to dismiss too lightly.
Followed up a quiet seasonal reappearance run at Wolverhampton with a much better effort at Wetherby last month. Step back in trip should hold no fears and looks a progressive sort who should run well.

Gravistas (10/3), Rochester House (4/1), L'Un Deux Trois (4/1), Just Benjamin (9/2), Dark Lochnagar (7/1), Calling The Wind (9/1), Dancin Boy (10/1), Aspire Tower (12/1), Euro Implosion (14/1), Beechwood Jude (33/1)
ASPIRE TOWER may go well at a decent price as he probably needed his reappearance run at Newmarket. His win at the same track at the backend of last season represents better form than shown by all his rivals at these weights. The lightly-raced Dark Lochnagar is another to consider given his proven stamina over this trip. Each-way shouts go to both Euro Implosion and Dancing Boy.
- Aspire Tower
- Dark Lochnagar
- Dancin Boy
