Dandy Man-filly who cost just E3,000 as a yearling. Making her debut as a four-year-old and is best watched. Trainer 5-65 with two-year-olds overall.
Interesting that connections opt to run him in another maiden when he now has a handicap mark of 69 to exploit. Fair effort last time when three-quarter-length runner-up at Wolverhampton (5f; standard). Turf debut.
Made his debut in April but has failed to threaten in both runs which have came over 6f. Dropped in trip today but seems to be one to be more enthusiastic about when entering handicap company.
Almost broke his maiden duck at York last time on handicap debut. That is probably the best form on offer and although he was turned over when 4-6F in a small field affair at Newcastle recently, he should finally get off the mark today.
Obvious non-stayer when making debut at Redcar (7f; good to firm). Showed plenty of early pace though, so interesting dropped down to 5f. Could run into a place at a big price.
Thoroughly exposed maiden who has failed to score in 11 attempts at various different levels. Most recently when fourth at Newcastle (5f; standard to slow). Readily opposed.
Forecasts
Moss Gill (1/4), Brigadier (6/1), Ginvincible (10/1), Gunnison (10/1), Cominginonmonday (50/1), Dilly Dilly (50/1)
The growing number of 2's next to the name of MOSS GILL is slightly concerning but this is by far the best opportunity he has ever been faced with to break his maiden duck. It would be an almighty surprise were he not to get off the mark at the fifth attempt. This is a tricky race to look for each-way alternatives given that there are just six runners, but perhaps Brigadier is the best choice to couple in a forecast with the selection, given that connections are continuing to campaign the Sepoy-gelding in maiden company. Dilly Dilly is another one who could play second fiddle to the selection given the keenness she showed to get on with proceedings on debut.
- Moss Gill
- Brigadier
- Dilly Dilly
