An average handicapper on the Flat and made only a modest start over hurdles last month; big improvement required.
Rated 82 at his best on the Flat but looks to be of limited ability over hurdles after two well beaten efforts before now. Yard going well and still merits a betting check given that he's still learning this new aspect of racing.
Was eased and pulled up on his hurdles debut but posted a couple of much improved efforts since; the latest of which was an eye-catching run. More to come and has to merit consideration in this company.
Cost €105,000 at the November sales and is a likely type to build on the promise he showed on the Flat in France last year. Yard highly respected and a market move could be a significant pointer.
0-6 on the Flat but rated 83 at his best; needs to step up considerably on the bare form of his hurdles debut though.
Modest efforts in three point-to-points needs be bettered; he's probably best watched on his rules debut.
Cost €10,000 and is a half-brother to 2m7f and 3m hurdles winner Special Prep, so feasible to suggest a longer trip will suit before too long.
Poor completion rate in point-to-points and was brought down in his latest start; did run with credit over C&D prior to last time though. The betting can guide here.
His effort when fifth of fourteen on debut at Killarney earlier this month needs to be bettered and the gelding already has a bit to find with Morning Skye on that run. Others make more appeal.
Never a factor on debut in a Lisonagh point-to-point in March and hard to see him being good enough at the first time of asking under rules.
A Tiger Groom gelding who cost £8,000 as a three-year-old. He's a half-brother to a winning point-to-pointer out of a dam that is from the same family as Gold Cup winner Imperial Call. Yard capable of having one ready. Merits a betting check.
Cost just €2,000 as a three-year-old and has winners in his pedigree; met trouble on debut but still well held by Morning Skye; improvement required.
0-4 on the Flat and reached a rating of just 58 at his best; just a respectable effort on hurdles debut earlier this month but did show some promise. Breeding doesn't scream as one to follow over jumps.
Well held in third on debut at Killarney but should be a lot wiser this time and will be interesting to note the tactics employed against Morning Skye this time. Thereabouts if he can find improvement.
Been modest under both codes so far and needs to step up from previous hurdles form if she's going to figure here. The better ground might help here.

The latest improved run from MORNING SKYE just about sets the standard and he gets the nod as the one to with this time. Mary Ellis was no match for the selection last time but a more patient ride might see her get closer this time around. Act Of God is an interesting recruit from France and merits a betting check on his debut run in Ireland, while Fightfortheroses has ability but will need to show a good deal more if he's going to remain with his illustrious owner.
