Well beaten in three starts to date but there was a bit more promise in her third run at Leicester last time out. Should appreciate this longer trip on handicap debut and one to watch in the market here.
Has raced three times at Wolverhampton and it was an improved effort on third start when third of 11 in a maiden last time. Has a fair opening handicap mark here.
Well beaten in all three starts and well out of her depth in a Listed race at Chester last time. Yard flying but she needs to do much more on handicap debut here.
Well beaten on all five starts and has shown nothing in two starts in handicap company, including on debut for this yard at Yarmouth last time. Steps up in trip here but best watched at present.
Some promise on third start when fifth of 11 at Wolverhampton last month in maiden company. Well bred and likely capable of better at some stage.
Showed some promise in a couple of his five starts and best effort yet in first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton last time. Dropped 2lb and not without an each-way squeak if the headgear has the same effect.
Showed promise in novice company and improved from a fair effort on seasonal bow at Wetherby to win a Beverley handicap last time when stepped up in trip. Up 5lb for that but should have more to offer for a yard in form.
Gelded during the winter and beaten just 2¼L when finishing sixth of 11 over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton on handicap debut last time out. Interesting stepping up in distance and dropped 2lb.
Well beaten in four starts on AW but some promise in first-time cheekpieces on turf debut at Wetherby last time. Dropped 1lb and back in trip so may do better.
Well beaten on each of his three starts and sold for 10,000 gns since his most recent effort. Habitual slow starter who needs to improve for the step up in trip and first-time cheekpieces.
Beaten a long way in four starts to date including his handicap debut last time at Wolverhampton; has plenty to prove at present. Turf debut.
Yet to win in six starts but has produced some better efforts of late, particularly at Newcastle last time out. Useful 5lb claimer booked and may have an each-way chance if he can build on that run on turf debut here.
Forecasts
Robert Fitzroy (3/1), Lincoln Tale (7/2), Enhanced (6/1), What Will Be (6/1), Message (9/1), Manton Warrior (9/1), West Newton (12/1), Craneur (16/1), Nathanielhawthorne (16/1), Darwin Dream (25/1), Starlight Red (33/1), Achaeus (33/1)
A tricky puzzle with several of these making their handicap debut but preference is for LINCOLN TALE who got her head in front last time out and only has a 5lb rise to cope with. Enhanced could be one who improves for the step up in trip while West Newton showed more last time out in first-time headgear.
- Lincoln Tale
- Enhanced
- West Newton
