Cost £30,000 being by Gutaifan out of a mare who won over 5f and whose two previous offspring won over 6f-7f. Yard not readily associated with juvenile winners, but then again they will have had few that cost this much.

Brazen Beau filly out of a half-sister to the yard's smart sprinter Spinatrix. Looked green on debut but showed some promise and she will be suited by the stiffer track here.

Shaped better last time when inconvenienced by a wide draw. Going the right way but a big step forward required here.

28,000 gns daughter of Dream Ahead related to a couple of winners. Easy to back on last week's Kempton debut and shaped well until the furlong marker. Bred to handle a bit of cut, but it did pay to be drawn high here last week.

Unraced full-sister to the yard's smart sprinter Don't Touch. Stable have had eight juvenile winners this term so one to note in the market.

32,000 gns daughter of Kodiac related to six winners including St. Leger winner Artic Cosmos. Clearly bred to want further but represents a yard with a stunning 32% strike rate here with juveniles for a level stakes profit of 56 points.

Fastnet Rock half-sister to a 5f winner. Yard have not had many juvenile runners this term and their five-year record with this age group is 9-149.

6,000 gns Poet's Voice filly and first foal of a 6f-7f winner. Stable 6-97 with this age group over past five seasons and on balance others look more attractive.

Appeared not to handle the track at Chester when blowing a plum draw and drifting wide into the straight. Best judged on her debut effort when chasing home two smart fillies at Newcastle and the one to beat on that form.

By Garswood out of a useful mare who was placed three times in Listed company over 1m. Kept on well when fourth of nine on debut at Beverley and appears the stable's top candidate judged on riding arrangements.

Forecasts

Stars In The Night (6/4), Yarrow Gate (3/1), Miss Lucy (9/2), Exceptional (7/1), Dream Kart (7/1), Beautrix (12/1), Dearly Beloved (12/1), Orlaith (16/1), Angels Faces (33/1), Champagne Victory (50/1), Roseina's Voice (66/1)

Verdict

Miss Lucy and Exceptional are the most attractive looking newcomers but it may pay to side with experience. Dream Kart should do better than at Kempton but a low draw was a handicap here last week and it remains to be seen if recent rain may have eradicated the bias. STARS IN THE NIGHT and Yarrow Gate are drawn up the centre which should give their rider's options. The latter performed well despite her inexperience on debut, but the selection achieved more at Newcastle before failing to handle the bends at Chester last time. Kevin Ryan's filly is given one more chance in this lesser company.
  1. Stars In The Night
  2. Yarrow Gate
  3. Dream Kart
