C&D winner finished well held eighth over 1m2f at Ripon (good) last month. Refused to race at Musselburgh (good) subsequently. Probably best watched at present.
Course winner was beaten a head when finishing runner-up in a 1m2f handicap on the AW at Newcastle at the end of April. Struggled for stamina upped to 1m4f at York (good-to-firm) last time out and cheekpieces tried for the first time.
Fair last of six over 1m4f at Ripon (good) on his penultimate start. Well beaten on soft ground at Chester over an extended 1m2f last time out however.
Improved on seasonal debut when finishing 3¾L fourth over an extended 1m2f at Chester (soft) last time out. Better ground forecast no issue and likely to run well once more.
Finished a fair 11½L fourth in a six runner contest on handicap debut at Musselburgh (good) earlier this month. Likely to have improved for the run and is a previous C&D winner.
Placed over C&D in August last year but form tailed off thereafter. Worth a check in the market on seasonal debut off a mark 12lb lower than when successful over C&D in June 2017.
ADDIS ADABA should appreciate this return to 1m2f and the application of cheekpieces for the first time can see him register a victory in this seven runner handicap. The selection can get the better of Mulligatawny who ran well on soft ground at Chester on his most recent appearance while Royal Regent can build on his seasonal debut by finishing third.
