Won a shade cleverly at Fakenham last time and 5lb rise looks fair. Steps up nearly 3f but has won at slightly beyond this trip in past so no real stamina doubts. Amateur rider claims 7lb.
Stayed on dourly to land 3m novices h'cap chase by a whisker at Warwick last month but was below that form when a well beaten favourite there last time off this mark. May bounce back but handicapper might have his measure now.
Inconsistent between the flags in recent years and has only one place to his name from 15 attempts under Rules prior to that. May struggle once again returning to this sphere.
Won Stratford novices h'cap chase at close to this trip in May 2017 but ran poorly in three starts soon after. Absent for over 600 days prior to pullng up when tailed off at Uttoxeter earlier this month.
Came with a wet sail to get up close home over C&D in April then finished fair third at Warwick soon after. Brought down final circuit when in touch 18 days ago and has claims if over that mishap.
Landed C&D win off 5lb lower mark penultimate start but weakened 3 out over shorter trip at Market Rasen last time. Not out of it but will do well to score here again.
Modiucm of form over hurdles but hasn't looked a natural chaser in two previous attempts. 5lb lower than last moderate attempt and looks up against it despite his light weight.

Forecasts
Eaton Miller (5/2), Butlergrove King (11/4), Danseur Du Large (11/4), Arthur's Reuben (11/2), Arboretum (15/2), Bare Necessities (11/1), Desert Sting (12/1), Bob's Call (66/1)
It's hard to be confident about any of these but ARTHUR'S REUBEN likes it here and tends to run his race so should give supporters a good run for their money. Butlergrove King won well enough last time at Fakenham and while this is a very different test, by a process of eliminatin another big effort cannot be ruled out. Danseur Du Large is capable at this level and has a fine rider to help his cause, while Eaton MIller may prove best of the rest.
- Arthur's Reuben
- Butlergrove King
