Takes a keen hold and switch to front running tactics worked with Chepstow win, but looked vulnerable when falling 2 out at Newton Abbot. Claims on form, though would like to see him settle better.

All career runs on a sound surface and having made it 2 from 3 in Bumpers, won nicely on hurdling debut at Uttoxeter earlier in the month. Looks a nice prospect and should have plenty more to offer.
Poor form in Point-to-points. Didn't hurdle with fluency on debut in this sphere and quickly dropped out after making early running. Not hard to look elsewhere.
Tailed off at big prices in trip of novice hurdles having looked very moderate in Pint-to-points prior to that. Hard to make a case for.
Decent 1m6f handicapper on the Flat, winning five times, all on the AW. Fourth on hurdling debut at Kempton where a mistake three out stopped him in his tracks. Better can be expected.

Some ability when trained in Ireland for his three Flat runs. Similar level of form in both hurdling attempts for top yard and open to further improvement.

1m4f AW winner for Ed Walker last autumn. 5/1 for hurdling debut but bled. Tailed off then at Newbury but bit better at Kempton last time. Open to improvement but may be better in handicaps after this.

Blinkers now tried but has looked hard ride both runs over hurdles, unseating rider, then running out at stable bend at Ludlow. Needs to improve dramatically.

Forecasts

Now Look At Me (1/1), Grey Diamond (7/4), Ballycaines (5/1), West Coast Flyer (6/1), Toshima (20/1), Mo Tottie (20/1), Out The Glen (100/1), Dublin Indemnity (100/1)

Verdict

NOW LOOK AT ME didn't beat much on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter but including his Bumper form, has looked a horse of potential and he gets the vote to beat the free going Grey Diamond. West Coast Flyer showed enough at Kempton on his hurdling debut to suggest he can make the frame.
  1. Now Look At Me
  2. Grey Diamond
  3. West Coast Flyer
