Sent off 11-4f when winning the opening juvenile contest of the season, the Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster (5f, good); ran reasonably well under a penalty in Chester's Lily Agnes Stakes (fifth) given a poor draw and the softer conditions underfoot.
Street Boss colt; showed pace on debut at York (5f) last week, but couldn't sustain his effort inside the final furlong when reeled in by Bomb Proof (a 1¼L winner); turned out swiftly seeking compensation.
Has improved with each and every appearance; off the mark at the third attempt when beating Go Well Spicy by 2L in a 5f fillies' novice median auction at Nottingham (soft) a fortnight ago; this race looks to have more depth.
Brazen Beau filly; well beaten on both starts to date (Redcar and Leicester); booked for fourth place barring a dramatic and unanticipated turn of events.
Forecasts
Monoski (4/7), Show Me Show Me (9/4), Daddies Diva (8/1), Grace Plunkett (40/1)
Richard Fahey won this race with Ninetythreetwenty in 2018, so it could be worth siding with his Brocklesby winner SHOW ME SHOW ME who can possibly be excused his defeat in the Lily Agnes Stakes at Chester. Although he must cope with the concession of 3lb to the Mark Johnston-trained Monoski who is turned out swiftly after a pleasing opening effort at York last week, he might just prove up to the task with Paul Hanagan now returning to the saddle.
