Pick of his form last season at Ascot with Shergar Cup Dash victory and Wokingham fourth, both over 5f. Fair efforts in two good races so far this term over 6f at Doncaster (Listed) and Kempton (AW) but just lacking strong finish.
Finished 2¾L fifth against older horses in a Newbury Group 3 (6f, good to firm; 50-1) last July, though very disappointing a week later at York (6f, soft) in a handicap. No win since 2017 (four runs) and has something to prove on seasonal bow.
Won the Listed Surrey Stakes at Epsom last June and kept to decent company afterwards. Appreciated drop in class when winning at Yarmouth (7f, good; 4-6f) in April. Placed last week at Thirsk over same trip. Likes to make running, vulnerable.
Best over this trip, going close at Doncaster and Newmarket (both good to firm) this term before flopping in Victory Cup at Ascot (7f, good; 33-1) this month. Decent chance in this contest, though course form could be off-putting.
Consistent six-year-old has been running good races on the AW during a busy winter, though winless since September and string of placed effort paint a frustrating picture. Career-high mark to defy back on turf and 3-36 strike-rate isn't encouraging.
Revitalised since joining Richard Hughes, with 6f Chelmsford success in March backed up by solid efforts at Windsor (5f, good) and Kempton (5f, AW) before narrow score over 5f here last time. Up 4lb in better company, stays this trip no worries.
Won twice for Paul D'Arcy early this year, and back with former trainer when bringing up his hat-trick at Newcastle penultimate run. Fair run at Ascot (6f, good to soft) since, though regrettably runs from 3lb higher mark now. Jockey booking helps.
Consistent handicapper on turf and AW, with 4-21 on this surface and a likeable attitude. Latest success over 5f on the AW at Wolverhampton in November. Has been off since January and returns from career-high rating. Boosted by claim.

Lake Volta (3/1), Green Power (7/2), Tis Marvellous (5/1), Puds (11/2), Martineo (13/2), Enjazaat (15/2), Areen Heart (11/1), Tawny Port (16/1), Jashma (25/1)
PUDS only just got there under Shane Kelly when scoring over 5f here earlier in the month and this is going to ask for a bit more from 4lb higher, but the filly has thrived since joining this trainer and can once again be expected to throw down a late challenge to all concerned. That might be enough to edge the consistent pair of Lake Volta and Tis Marvellous, who both seems sure to run well. Martineo is 3lb 'wrong' on these terms but should not be discounted.
