Kingman filly is out of Group 1 Matron Stakes winner Emulous, who herself is related to multiple Group horses. Consistent as two-year-old, ending four-race sequence with 7f AW win at Kempton in game fashion. Should have more to offer this term.
By Iffraaj out of a winning daughter of US Grade 1 E. P. Taylor Stakes heroine Folk Opera. Newmarket novice winner (7f, good to firm) on July Course last year. Just denied on reappearance/handicap bow at Chelmsford (1m, AW; 9-2), obvious contender.
Epaulette filly, landed a 7f Salisbury novice (good; 9-2) on second start last year. Found wanting in Newbury Listed race next time and held final outing on the AW. Returns from winter break needing to have improved, yard going well.
Toronado filly whose price rose to 42,000 gns as a two-year-old, placed in all four starts last year over 7f/1m. More demanded to open account on return, but booking of Oisin Murphy is a positive.
Lightly-raced filly, has exhibited promise at times in her six starts, though most recent effort in Nottingham handicap (1m½f, good to soft; 33-1) wasn't such an occasion and she was beaten too easily to be confident here.
58,000 guineas daughter of Poet's Voice but hadn't shown much in her first two starts but more like it under positive ride last time at Wolverhampton (1m½f, AW; 80-1) when making the frame having led. Interesting dropped in trip.
Toronado filly, twice a runner up on the AW at Kempton (6f-7f) as a juvenile; came on for reappearance when staying on second over a mile at Newmarket (good to firm; 8-1) last week and should get involved here from unchanged mark.
Home-bred Aussie Rules filly; learning with her racing in three AW novice events this spring over 7f/1m. Will have to take a marked step forward in order to make this a winning turf/handicap bow it seems.
