Course winner has not been at his best since her revised mark kicked in following a good second at Windsor in April. Good rider on board but vulnerable to an improver.
Won twice early last season but largely disappointed subsequently. May do better this year but she will need to settle better than on her reappearance.
Has improved greatly since stepping up to a mile, defying the handicapper four times in his last five outings. Up into a class 5 this time with some unexposed types in opposition, so further progress will be needed.
Has failed to see out the trip on her last two starts. Possible she may do better with on handicap debut following a winter break, so probably best watched for a market move.
Registered narrow back to back wins here last autumn in lower grade races, but was not disgraced when upped to this class when last seen. Looks reasonably handicapped if fit following a break.
Three fair efforts on the AW over 5f and 6f. Completely different ball game for handicapping bow on turf with stamina to prove and stable claimer opting for Dancing Jo.
By Magician out of a half-sister to top-class miler Soviet Song. Showed some ability when mid-division in his first three starts and likely to show more now handicapping. One to watch in the market for last year's successful stable/rider combination
Becoming disappointing after five starts, but possible to excuse latest run as he was held up in a race where it paid to be on the pace. Could provide Capofaro with a tougher race this time and a top claimer has been booked.
Son of Shamardal who cost 60,000 gns and has been gelded over the winter. Failed to build on a promising debut, but yard capable of getting one ready for handicap bow and talented claimer has ridden a winner for them this year.
Poor on turf last time but had shown some promise on AW prior to that. Form of his Wolverhampton fifth has not worked out well and others look more appealing.
13,000gns yearling; has improved for each of her three starts, finishing just over 2L fourth to Obee Jo in a 6f Thirsk maiden latest. Bred to appreciate this longer trip and cannot be written off.
Has a lot to find with Padura Brave on running here last autumn and similarly has an absence to overcome.

Forecasts
Capofaro (11/4), Kingdom Of Dubai (10/3), Dancing Jo (7/1), Circle Of Stars (15/2), Rakastava (9/1), Sephton (10/1), Padura Brave (12/1), Trelinney (16/1), Reasoned (20/1), Shifting Gold (20/1), Francisco Bay (25/1), Diviner (33/1), London Pride (50/1), San Diaco (66/1)
Capofaro comes here on top of his game and will be bidding to defy the handicapper for a fifth time. However, he is meeting better horses here and there a couple of interesting unexposed types, Sephton and CIRCLE OF STARS who may have got in lightly. A market move for either would be noteworthy but the selection has shown a lot of promise and has fared better with the draw. Kingdom Of Dubai has been disappointing so far, but can be excused his latest and ought to be thereabouts under a good rider.
