Has finished in the runner-up berth on three of his four starts over fences (2m-2m5f+) and it can surely only be a matter of time before he breaks his career duck; the application of first-time cheekpieces could serve to sharpen his focus.
Winner off a 6lb lower mark at Kelso (2m5f+, good to soft) on her penultimate start; no extra on the run-in when fourth to Reverse The Charge over C&D latest (second and third have both won since); realistic contender.
Hasn't show much in the way of sparkle under rules for Donald McCain (0-5), but was placed in a 3m PTP for Colin Bowe in May 2018; watching brief advised on rules chasing debut.
PTP winner (May 2017); has struggled under rules for the Glenfarg-based trainer Lucy Normille; well out of his depth on rules chasing debut (novices') over C&D earlier this month.
Far from convincing over fences (0-12) and has a poor overall win record (1-25); scrambled home when beating Apachee Prince by a neck in a 2m4f Class 5 handicap hurdle here in August 2017.
Veteran, a winner of nine of his 80 career starts; massively on the downgrade over the course of the past 12-15 months or so (has tumbled in the weights); arriving very late to the chasing game (debut).
Brought the sequence to 37-races without a win when finishing a keeping on fourth to Golden Town at Sedgefield last week (2m1f Class 5 handicap hurdle); held no chance whatsoever at the weights on his sole previous attempt over fences.
Just held when beaten a neck by Maureen's Star at Perth (3m novices' handicap hurdle) in July 2018; disappointing since returning form wind surgery (often prominent in the betting); plenty to prove on second start over fences.
Dual PTP winner in 2017 (for Clive Storey); 0-14 under rules, lacked fluency when finishing last of three to Sleep Easy on chasing debut at Kelso (2m5f+); this race is a more realistic target, yet can still be expected to struggle.
