Top-class juvenile for this yard back in 2017 included a Group 2 win and two Group 1 seconds. Followed a close fifth at the Breeders' Cup with a win for a US stable back in April last year. To be aimed at sprints this year and could be involved.

Front-runner has a favourable draw. Was knocking at the door throughout 2018 in some good sprints and returned running right up to that standard when second at Musselburgh. No win since 2017 but likely to make a bold bid.

Twice a winner last season including at this level but finished off with a disappointing run in a Group 3 and very poor on his return at Navan. Plenty to prove now. Stable won this two years ago and also runs Fantasy and Gossamer Wings.

Should be suited by a first run on her preferred fast ground since last July when fourth in a Listed contest over 6f here. Hasn't been in the same form since and even at that level this would require a fare bit more. Others preferred.

Ran a neck second on last year's seasonal reappearance so can go well fresh and is suited by this C&D on quick ground. However well beaten in both previous runs at this level and unlikely to be up to it again.

Consistent filly, a winner of four from 11 starts, suited by the conditions and a neck second in the Listed Woodlands Stakes over this C&D last month. Open to further progress with two runs behind her and likely to prove competitive.

Ran three times in France last year showing progress from debut win for two seconds, including in Listed company. Cheekpieces added for stable and season debut and market likely to show expectations on ground quicker than he's encountered before.

Sole win came in maiden company but has a Group 3 third from last year. Rates the least likely of the O'Brien trio having been well beaten in both Listed starts this year. Quicker ground suits but a fair bit to prove.

Progressive filly as a juvenile at the top level which included a second in Group 2 Queen Mary, third Group 2 Flying Childers and a fifth in Group 1 Cheveley Park. Travelled well for a long way and should benefit for reappearance. Leading hope.

Forecast

Soffia (3/1), Final Venture (3/1), Gossamer Wings (3/1), Beckford (5/1), All The King's Men (14/1), Show Must Go On (16/1), Julia's Magic (20/1), Fantasy (25/1), Rapid Reaction (50/1)

Verdict

A strong renewal where Beckford is very interesting returning to these shores, however he did pick up an injury in the US so may just need the run on this reappearance for his old yard. It's likely to be fast and furious and her stablemates could well set things up for the classy GOSSAMER WINGS who will benefit greatly for her reappearance. Final Venture will also be looking to get straight to the front from his draw and should be involved again, although he'll likely be harassed for the lead. Show Must Go On showed clear talent in France but may be better suited by cut in the ground while the reliable Soffia should be spot on now following a narrow defeat.
  1. Gossamer Wings
  2. Final Venture
  3. Beckford
