Consistent but has found winning tough since a success at Worcester last June; has crept up the weights as a result and now needs a career best on these terms.
Stable does well with this type of individual and this fellow looks a likely type to improve now he's step up in distance. The gelding was still in with a big shout when he unseated last tie and would be dangerous to underestimate here.
Still has scope to improve over fences and is 2-3 over the larger obstacles. Chasing a hat-trick after a win over hurdles last time out but is versatile and still progressive enough to cope. Has to merit consideration.
Won on his debut for his current yard at Huntington on Boxing Day but has struggled to hold his form since. His completion rate is poor since then and he looks one to be wary of despite a better display at Plumpton earlier this month.
Ran well here last month in his first run of the season and should be a good deal sharper this time. 9lb below his only previous winning mark over fences, so merits a betting check at least.
