Failed to show much in five outings over hurdles when trained in Ireland (most form on testing ground). No obvious promise on his GB/stable debut in a Perth handicap over 2m; would be a surprise winner given his form so far.
Modest maiden handicap hurdler who showed some form/ability last year without looking as though he was going to win a race off marks such as this. Now returns from a break with others offering more persuasive cases.
Been knocking at the door over hurdles especially since moving into handicaps although he's yet to put it all together in this sphere. Remains well handicapped on his Flat form but may well be the type that everything needs to fall right for.
Yet to win on the Flat or over jumps with his stamina far from proven in the latter sphere on the evidence so far. Struggled in a Taunton handicap last time and remains with little form to his name; one of the lesser lights in this contest.
There was plenty of promise and signs of ability in his Irish hurdles but he's miles away from repeating any of that form for his current yard. Looks a very hard sort to train and fared poorly of an all to frequent break last time out at Worcester.
Took an age to record his first victory over jumps finally breaking his virginity in a Market Rasen chase last July (suited by the strong pace). Strong traveller who often finds little in a finish; looks vulnerable off a break back over hurdles.
Way down the field in four Flat runs with Marcus Tregoning and looks just as limited over hurdles so far (form amounts to little). Hopes now pinned on first-time cheekpieces and a handicap debut; one of the lesser lights though.
Started life in handicaps from a far from generous mark but now looks to be working his way back to form via a reduced mark and a wind op. Shaped as if retaining plenty of ability last time; not ignored dropped to a career-low mark.
Novice hurdles looked to be a means to an end (took four runs to get a mark) and showed far more than previously on his handicap debut (still looked green). May well need a little time yet but there is potential for better; market watch advised.
Type that this yard do well with and first-time out for the yard on the back of a wind op (also first-time cheekpieces) saw him typically strong in the betting. Proved a major flop (pulled up) but too soon to suggest this yard won't turn him round.

Ourmullion (5/2), Grande Waltz (5/2), Twycross Warrior (5/1), Biscay Bay (8/1), Court Jurado (8/1), Infiniti (8/1), Never A Word (10/1), Presenting Streak (12/1), Golan Cloud (14/1), Agentleman (16/1), Sehayli (16/1), Buachaill Beag (20/1), Freedom Chimes (20/1), Boston T Party (25/1)
Most of the main betting focus in the finale is likely to centre around Ourmullion and Grande Waltz and while both have positives neither is a rock solid proposition at the prices and there are others who offer equally sound and interesting credentials in the race. One of those would be TYWCROSS WARRIOR who now looks as though he has a far more sensible handicap mark having worked his way back to form on the back of a wind op. Court Jurado is another sort that catches the eye although he may well need further to show his best with Biscay Bay one to watch for positive market vibes after a promising display at Chepstow last time.
- Twycross Warrior
- Ourmullion
- Biscay Bay
