Career record reads 1-25 across all codes, has been running sound races around Dundalk's AW circuit lately, without necessarily looking like winning. Unlikely to give weight and a beating here, on balance.
Shed maiden tag over 1m6f at Gowran Park (yielding to soft; 6-1) on first start for this trainer 10 days ago. Must race from increased mark now but front pair pulled long way clear and chance there's more under the bonnet.
14-race maiden, not badly treated on best efforts last year and ran well last time at Tipperary (1m1f, yielding). Remains unexposed over this sort of staying trip, watch betting.
Popular veteran who has been well beaten on both starts this term at Dundalk. Hasn't shown enough since his win at Sligo in August to be of interest.
Hurdles winner, remains a maiden on the Flat (0-16) but went very close last time at Limerick (1m3½f, soft) and should be suited by the extra yards offered here. Cheekpieces tried, rated 4lb higher but worth some thought.
Flat maiden, twice won over timber in 2017 but not seen since falling in that sphere last summer. Likely best watched on comeback, unless betting suggests different.

Failed to make an impact either in Flat or hurdles maidens during 2018. Back from a layoff going into handicaps for the first time, has plenty to find and only strong market support would pique interest.
Has a jumper's pedigree so a potential improver at this sort of trip on handicap debut for a shrewd yard. Worth a betting check on that theory.
Beaten by wide margins in all her starts and doubtful she will be a factor having failed to make any mark over C&D last month under this rider's claim.
Loyal servant recorded with 10th win on the AW when scoring over 1m4f at Dundalk this month, but he's 0-17 on turf previously (has won over jumps). In good heart, might snatch a place.

He's gone up 13lb for his troubles but LINGER dismissed his rivals at Gowran Park last time with a fare degree of abandon. That was his first start for Joseph O'Brien and the way he went about it suggests there are more races to be won with him. He can double-up, despite the handicapper's efforts. Limerick runner-up Mountain Fox can present a danger with this longer trip in his favour while Aasleagh Fawn and Machiavelli are two that could improve for this sort test and therefore are worth monitoring.
