Dropped back in trip to 1m when always seemingly in control under a confident Pat Cosgrave ride at Redcar (good to firm) earlier this month; 6lb higher; very few worries about dropping back to 7f tonight; strong claims.

Forecast

Gentle Look (5/6), Buckingham (11/4), Wise Counsel (3/1), Attainment (6/1), Self Assessment (7/1), Cotubanama (10/1), Red Bravo (10/1), Triple Distilled (11/1), Gabrial The Wire (12/1), Tribal Commander (25/1), Punjab Mail (33/1)

Verdict

GENTLE LOOK and Pat Cosgrave had the race in safe keeping from halfway at Redcar (1m) earlier this month, so there's few obvious worries for the Godolphin-owned gelding dropping back in trip to 7f tonight. A subsequent 6lb rise in the weights will make life a little tougher, albeit probably not stop the pair from swiftly following up. The main danger is expected to come from the upped in trip top-weight Wise Counsel.
