Great Pretender filly, dam a half-sister to three winners including Kayf Grace. Made easy work of Southwell debut and some of those directly in behind have run well in defeat since. This probably tougher but yard have a good record in this race.
Sans Frontieres mare, dam a half-sister to the three-time Grade 2 winner Monksland and two more winners. Yard not known for their success in bumpers but she's worth noting in the market on debut here.
Kayf Tara mare, sister to a bumper winner. Dam a half-sister to a bumper winner and a Flat winner. Yard do well in this sphere and well worth considering here, particularly if there's any market support.
Sans Frontieres mare, dam closely related to a bumper winner. Yard debutantes can need the run and others preferred here.
Brian Boru mare, half-sister to two winners. Tailed off in a pair of Plumpton bumpers and this looks no easier. May do better when tried over further.
Jeremy filly, cost €9,500 as a three-year-old. Half-sister to Party Rock and dam closely related to two useful sorts over further. Yard not known for their bumper winners and others preferred.
Milan filly, closely related to two winners. Dam a half-sister to multiple Graded winner Function Dream. Well bred and yard can ready one for debut, has to be of interest here.
Well beaten on debut at Ascot but put up a better performance when third of seven in bumper over C&D last month. Probably not the strongest event so will need to build on that.
Kayf Tara filly, half-sister to a 2m winner. Dam was a French winner over both hurdles and fences and she was a half-sister to a 2m4f Listed winner. Yard have a fair strike-rate in bumpers and worth noting in the market here.
Getaway filly, cost €10,000 as a foal and €30,000 as a three-year-old. A sister to Rathhill. Dam related to Bellshill and two more talented jumps horses. Yard always respected in this sphere and she's well worth considering here.
Forecasts
It's Probably Me (11/4), Vegas Blue (3/1), Maria Francesca (9/2), Miss Flying Fox (6/1), Lucinda (6/1), Didonato (7/1), Annebelle (10/1), Cushy Lady (20/1), No Frontier (33/1), Tarks Hill (50/1)
This looks like the deeper division of the bumper and it might be worth siding with the well bred VEGAS BLUE. Her trainer has an excellent record in this sphere and it would be no surprise to find that she's well above average for a debutante here. Henry Daly has won the last two renewals of this race and jockey Richard Johnson was on board for last year's success. The pair team up again with It's Probably Me and she was impressive on debut at Southwell when winning with the minimum of fuss. Didonato is a debutante to note for a yard that do well in this sphere.
