Improved on seasonal debut when finishing 4L fourth over C&D on good-to-firm ground last time out. Races off a 2lb lower mark here and drops in grade for a yard with a 23% strike-rate (7/30) in recent weeks.
Returned from a break with a victory in a 6f handicap on the AW at Newcastle in November. Absent since and worth a check in the market off a 3lb higher mark on seasonal debut.
C&D winner was debuting for this yard when finishing a well held seventh over C&D earlier this month. Returning from nearly 12 months off the track that day and improvement likely.
Placed twice last year including over this C&D. Well beaten in two AW starts over this trip at Newcastle during the winter and others make more appeal on return from a break.
19 race maiden pulled up in a couple of hurdle races at Sedgefield earlier this year. Probably best watched on stable debut and return to the Flat.
Fair effort when 4L fifth in a 5f handicap at Newcastle on seasonal debut just under three weeks ago. Well handicapped on old form and market support would be notable.
C&D winner finished well held over this trip at Musselburgh (good-to-firm) on stable and seasonal debut earlier this month. Visor worn for the first time that day is replaced with cheekpieces for this event.
14 race maiden failed to build on a promising seasonal debut when 6L 11th over 5f at Musselburgh (good-to-firm) earlier this month. Others make more appeal.
Forecasts
Super Florence (5/2), Highly Focussed (4/1), Oriental Splendour (9/2), Kodimoor (5/1), Funkadelic (11/2), Corton Lass (10/1), Bronze Beau (14/1), Duba Plains (40/1)
Top weight SUPER FLORENCE can take advantage of the drop in grade to register a victory in the final race on the card. The selection is improving with racing this term and she can see off her rivals here with Highly Focussed capable of claiming second on his seasonal reappearance. Third place can go the way of the veteran Bronze Beau who should have improved for his latest effort.
- Super Florence
- Highly Focussed
- Bronze Beau
