On a tremendous run this spring on good ground and although winning run came to an end at Plumpton, he lost nothing in defeat when chasing home Fiesole who franked the form at Haydock last weekend. Looks sure to play a prominent part.
Proved conclusively that this is his trip with a close second at Hexham earlier in the month. Likes this sound surface and although this is a step up in grade, he has to be respected.
Several placed efforts at the track and ground fine but beaten 20L when runner up last month and poor strike rate over hurdles a shade off-putting.
Won a handicap here last summer and enjoys this surface. Continued his consistent form through last autumn Off the track since October, but form claims if ready to go after break.
Musselburgh win in January but form either side of that leaves him with work to do and this tougher than the race he normally contests.
