Verdict

John Gosden won this race with Perfection in 2018, and is doubly-represented by the clear form pick GENTLEWOMAN and the likely improver Whimbrel, so it's entirely plausible that a Gosden 1-2 is on the cards. The selection was a fast-finishing neck second to Clerisy over C&D at the Craven meeting and a replication of that form ought to be plenty good enough. Of the newcomers, the £58,000 yearling Society Guest is worth monitoring for any signs of market support, whilst Her Majesty The Queen will no doubt be keeping a keen eye on her fillies Break Of Day and Clarion.
