Some fair form over hurdles in 2017 but off 500 days after and well below that level twice since. Overall record of 1-29 and 0-13 over hurdles reason enough to look elsewhere for answers.
Unplaced in six starts in maiden hurdles and unseated on handicap bow before error strewn eighth of 13 when last seen. Had a break but will have needed extensive schooling to feature.
Dual course winner's latest run on heavy ground can be excused as he's far better on a sounder surface. Yet to prove he's capable off three-figure marks but everything else in his favour so has to be considered.
Remains a maiden but performances in two most recent maiden hurdles show he has enough ability to change that with a staying on second here last November sound form. Fell over fences when last seen and off six months since but not ruled out.
The good form shown towards the end of the year had dropped off somewhat until latest third at Roscommon where he disputed at the last but made a slight mistake. Respected with that a sound effort.
Winner of a Punchestown handicap hurdle at odds of 25/1 beating 21 rivals 4½L in December. Good fifth next despite 10lb rise and infront at the last when falling last month. Thriving at present and providing fall leaves no mark he has a big chance.
Well beaten in two starts in maiden hurdles since joining this stable. Worth a check in the market on first start in handicaps.
Hardly prolific (4-50) and four races in 2018 far from compelling evidence to chance him after lengthy absence.
Not won since 2015 and despite occasional glimpses since here recent efforts over fences and hurdles far from compelling so easy to pass over here.
Off the mark at the 19th time of asking over hurdles for connections when landing a Perth 2m handicap hurdle last month and since that second of 17 at Downpatrick fore which he goes up 1lb. Thriving and highly respected here.
Useful flat performer but never sighted in three hurdles and even in his closest effort latest he was 17th of 20. Lowly mark to start handicapping but not seen enough to recommend.
Not shown enough over hurdles so far to be of interest. Beaten a long way on handicap debut at Wexford and although slightly better at Downpatrick since others are preferred.
Forecasts
Whatsinthecorner (11/4), Breesy Mountain (7/2), Oromo (7/2), Dasmyhoss (10/1), Pass Hymn (10/1), Deburrafield (14/1), Tintown Robin (16/1), Swiss Cottage (16/1), Skeaping (20/1), Sharp As A Pin (20/1), Comehere Hi (25/1), Afatcat (50/1)
BREESY MOUNTAIN looked on course for a second win in three races until falling at the last at Fairyhouse most recently; he can make amends here. Oromo has really found his groove now and is another who has to be considered after two solid efforts the last twice. Also worth considering is Whatsinthecorner who wasn't beaten far into third last time out.
