Improved form this season, winning a 6f maiden at Lingfield before finishing second back in handicap company over 5f at the same venue. Given he finished second of 13 at this venue in October, the return to turf should not be an issue.
Back-to-back wins in novice events in late summer, last year, and has performed well in handicaps since, latterly when a 2L fourth of nine at Ripon last month. Each-way claims off 1lb lower mark.
No wins in eight starts, but has been placed five times, all of them on the AW. Fair third of seven on return to action at Lingfield last month and has prospects if taking another step forward.
Won a 5f novice event at Lingfield in February in good style and has performed well in handicaps without getting her head in front. Not quite at her best last time, but ease in the ground might not have suited and this surface could suit better.
Limited promise in novice/maiden company as a juvenile, but shaped much better on seasonal reappearance/handicap debut after being gelded when third of seven over 6f at Yarmouth last month. Drops in trip and no surprise to see him improve again.
Narrow winner of a 6f Wolverhampton novice contest on second start in February and has run respectably in two subsequent outings. Return to 5f should be fine, but handicap mark may be a little high on the evidence so far.
Initial run in a handicap and sported first-time cheekpieces, which are retained, when third of eight over 6f at Wolverhampton on seasonal reappearance last month. Down 1lb dropped to the minimum trip for the first time.
Well beaten over 7f and 1m since joining her current trainer from Conor Dore's stable. Drop to sprinting should suit, but big improvement is needed.
Forecasts
Key To Power (11/4), Enchanted Linda (9/2), Swiss Pride (9/2), Major Blue (11/2), Mykindofsunshine (11/2), Abanica (10/1), Shining (12/1), Knockabout Queen (40/1)
There are reasons to suspect Abanica and Key To Power might do better this time, but the interesting one is MYKINDOFSUNSHINE, who was having his first run in a handicap after being gelded when giving an improved display on his seasonal reappearance at Yarmouth. Swiss Pride, Enchanted Linda and Shining have their share of weight, but can make their presence felt.
