Very useful hurdler, winning listed handicap at Market Rasen in September, and not disgraced in Scottish Champion Hurdle after a break last month. Runner-up on all three chase starts last season, and should get off the mark here.
Best effort over hurdles when fourth in a moderate 2m½f handicap at Newcastle on penultimate start, but well beaten next time, and looks a little out of his depth switched to fences.
Disappointing on handicap debut at Ludlow (2m5½f, good) over hurdles, but back on track with a brace of victories at Market Rasen on last two starts. Switches to fences now, and looks only serious danger to Caius Marcius.
Placed in points and has shown some talent for chasing, but essentially regressive in this sphere, and again stopped quickly when down the field here last time.
