Reasonably well treated and ran well on his reappearance last season; place claims as top weight does him no favours. (Rider's 7lb is a help though.)
Up in trip but is on the same mark as he was when victorious st Chepstow last August; should be sharper after his outing at Nottingham last month. Needs a betting check.
Set to race from 5lb above his only previous winning mark and plenty to prove regarding his stamina for the trip. Other present a more rounded picture.
Won at Chelmsford last month and ought to be suited by the step up to 1m2f; only 2lb higher so also potentially well treated. Has to merit an interest.
Won four times on the AW but yet to strike gold on turf; respected on the pick of his efforts but is prone to running the odd stinker. Latest outing was one of his better efforts, so could be noteworthy if he's backed as if improvement is expected.
Showed plenty of promise in novice company but well beaten in both starts in handicaps. Dropped 3lb after a poor effort at Bath last month and has a bit to prove now.
Likes this course and has to be respected from 1lb below his last winning mark; the trip could be his stumbling block though.
Not seen out since last August when not beaten far over C&D and is on a very handy mark; his lowest rating since 2014. Dangerous to underestimate but can be unpredictable.
In good form and went close from this mark at Lingfield at the start of this month; has been consistent when tried on turf and not much to find to be involved in the thick of the action. Shortlisted.
