Off the mark over hurdles when taking a 2m handicap hurdle at Leopardstown last month over this trip. Well held on his last two starts at Limerick and Fairyhouse. Needs to bounce back in a big way to have a say.
Distance winner, his only success in nine starts over hurdles. Not disgraced at Leopardstown in February finishing ninth of 14 and likely to come on for that run representing a yard in scintillating form.
Lightly raced since returning to the track in August and has not been seen since finishing second of seven beaten ¾L behind Apache Jack at Ayr in January. First time cheekpieces could spark an improved run.
Lightly-raced in recent seasons, and has hinted at a revival in a couple of recent starts but has generally been well held overall. Not in the form required to play a part.
So You Think gelding is a maiden after 18 starts in both codes. Hard to fancy following a couple of desolate displays at Cork and Punchestown recently.
Winner of two of his 11 starts over hurdles, hitting the frame on a further three occasions. Ran well in defeat on first start for a while finishing fourth of 11 beaten 7¾L at Kilbeggan last month. First-time visor to assist.
The good form shown towards the end of the year has dropped off somewhat posting a couple of drab efforts since last month. Could find one or two better handicapped sorts lurking.
Off the mark over hurdles at the 11th time of asking for connections when landing a Fairyhouse hurdle in good style last month. Well held at Kilbeggan since and has a bit to prove in this company.

Forecasts
Lake Takapuna (3/1), Roachdale House (11/2), Serious Ego (11/2), Iknowwhereiamnow (7/1), Whatsinthecorner (7/1), Just A Normal Day (7/1), De Mazzaro (8/1), Bold Emperor (9/1), Banjo (25/1)
LAKE TAKAPUNA won a Tipperary maiden hurdle over this trip over 12 months ago and the gelding can add to that win here. The Dermot Weld yard are in good form right now and his eight-year-old can take advantage of his low hurdle mark to see off the potential challenge coming from the top weight and Gordon Elliott-trained, Serious Ego. In a competitive contest Bold Emperor, in first-time cheekpieces and Just A Normal Day look more than capable of hitting the frame.
- Lake Takapuna
- Serious Ego
- Just A Normal Day
