Second wind op appeared to have little effect when he ran poorly at Wolverhampton in April, but defied expectations when scrambling home in a C&D handicap from much-reduced mark last time. Even a 2lb rise makes him look vulnerable, though.
Ran respectably on her reappearance, but no impact since, despite dropping like a stone in the handicap. Hard to back until she shows signs of halting the slide.
Regressive for Ralph Beckett and moved on for a mere £2,800 in January. Not entirely disgraced on debut for new yard at Newcastle, but plenty more required now.
Veteran handicapper who looks on the wane now, and unable to score last year with the handicapper reluctant to cut him much slack. Well held over 1m1f here on return in a first-time tongue tie, and drop in trip a negative.
Just one handicap win to his name, but below that mark now, and ran his best race this year when 6½L fourth of 11 to Colour Contrast over C&D last time. Needs to take another step forward to get involved here.
Not at his best for quite a while, but better on turf than AW, and 4lb lower than when winning at Thirsk last April. Not disgraced here last time, and may be able to build on that.
Best effort this year when sixth of 15 at Gowran last time, and won a 1m Thurles handicap on good ground last October. Versatile in regard to trip, and seems to be coming to the boil, so respected in this weak affair.
Just one win since July 2015, and she's not one to rely on. Ran a bit better when 2L sixth of 11 to Mi Capricho here last time, but she's not sure to build on that given recent record.
Modest and long-standing maiden, although several creditable efforts in defeat last season. Had wind surgery before this return to action, and chances if ready to go, for all he's arguably best over 6f.
One or two efforts this year give him a chance here, but he was just a respectable sixth of 12 to Camile in a 1m½f apprentice handicap at Nottingham on Saturday, and he'll need to step up on that.

The Irish raiders appear to hold a strong hand here, with preference for ALTHIB, who took a step forward at Gowran last time, and gives the impression that seven furlongs on a sound surface could be close to his optimum conditions. Blue Whisper has been quietly dropping to an attractive mark for his new yard, and could appreciate the return to turf with a tongue tie deployed, and looks the main danger. Mi Capricho has taken just a small rise for winning here last time, and can't be ruled out for all he had nothing to spare.
