Rio De La Plata gelding out of a Slickly mare. Dam unraced. Possibly best watched on debut from a yard not renowned for their bumper winners.
Scorpion gelding out of an unraced down who is related to a few jumps winners. Shaped well on March debut finishing second of 14 beaten 9½L in a Limerick maiden. Worthy of consideration again following first flight hiccup at Cork last month.
Gelding by Arcadio out of a Milan mare. Dam unraced. Worth a market check on debut representing yard who had their Jack Thunder finish second of nine behind The Brass Man at Tipperary on Thursday.
Gelding by Camacho out of a Eurobus mare. Half-brother to five winners including 2m4f hurdle winner Gusda. Looks a long-term prospect.

By Barely A Moment out of a Moscow Society mare. Home-bred gelding, half-brother to winners Rose Alice and bumper winner Mary B. Only beat one home on debut in a 14-runner Ballinrobe bumper last month and best watched on second start.
Well Chosen gelding has shown little aptitude in two previous starts at Thurles on debut and a 99L defeat at Punchestown last month to be considered in this company.
Gelding by Fame And Glory out of a Presenting mare. Dam a point-to-point winner finished well beaten on sole bumper start. Worth a market check on debut representing a yard that produced Front View to win a bumper at the recent Punchestown festival.

Forecasts

Home By The Lee (7/2), Pipers Meadow (4/1), Don Patricio (5/1), Didly D (5/1), Flash De Touzaine (7/1), Carnet De Stage (8/1), Noble Monarch (16/1), Bentanya (22/1), Happie Days (25/1), Forgotten Moment (25/1), Our Patsy (25/1), Arizona Boy (25/1), Baronial Hall (33/1), Wild Wind Blowing (33/1)

Verdict

The experience of PIPERS MEADOW second of 14 at Ballinrobe last month could be a major factor in the gelding landing the closing race of the day. The Ask gelding has once again the assistance of Patrick Mullins in the saddle and can get the better of two race maiden hurdler Carnet De Stage and Joseph O'Brien debutante, Home By The Lee. Noble Monarch and Forgotten Moment could out run their odds.
  1. Pipers Meadow
  2. Carnet De Stage
  3. Home By The Lee
