Hard to give him much of a chance based on his latest start at Kelso where he ran no race at all (laboured). That run continued his regression since winning twice last year; almost back down to his last winning mark; not likely to take advantage.
Off the mark over fences in GB (Ludlow) back in March 2017 off a 6lb lower mark and ran well twice at the same venue in the same year. Missed all of 2018 and hasn't returned in any form at all having been pulled up twice at Newbury in March.
Three-time chase winner in France; produced two good efforts on his first two GB runs (improved on his French form). Failed to stay in the Scottish Grand National (shaped better than the distance beaten); should be suited by the drop in grade.
Her form after wind surgery took a step forward last summer scoring back-to-back wins but she's had her struggles since until showing some signs of life last time. Her jumping continues to let her down though and could be her downfall again here.
Enigmatic character but kept his quirks under control to land three wins last season but not seen since his good run of form halted abruptly over C&D last November. Yet to show her can handle a mark this high and may well need this return to action.
Been given two runs over hurdles back from a break (looked rusty on both occasions); now returns to fences although it's eight runs since he scored in that sphere. Last win did come over C&D; slipped 7lb below his last winning mark (handy mark).
Brought back to life by this yard (aided by a falling mark) having scored twice round here over a shorter trip (2m5f). Win easily last time but paid for that ease with an 11lb rise plus a stiffer grade; still well treated on his old form.

Forecasts
Cabaret Queen (9/4), Compadre (3/1), Van Gogh Du Granit (5/1), Sporting Boy (11/2), Silver Tassie (11/2), Midnight Shot (7/1), Elkstone (9/1), Marcilhac (16/1)
A few of these have little foibles to get over and despite being beaten a long way last time the David Pipe trained VAN GOGH DU GRANIT is taken to gain his first GB success with the drop in trip and ease in grade in his favour. Sporting Boy could well appreciate the return to fences and nobody can deny that he’s well handicapped and his last chasing win did come over C&D. Compadre has to be given a shout given his recent return to form and he’ll be a danger if he copes with the rise in weights and this more competitive grade. If there is to be a shock then Silver Tassie could well be the one to provide it eased in grade and having shown a little more spark of late.
