Won a match at Lingfield in March but otherwise has largely struggled latest and even his subsequent third saw him beaten 15L. Others appeal more.
Played little part in three starts last year in novice company but they came over distances around 1m. Pedigree suggests he will be much happier over this sort of trip so expecting big improvement on handicap bow.
Well-held in three novice starts last year, two on AW, all over 6f. Complete unknown then going over almost twice as far but dam-side of pedigree offers hope. Market can guide to some extent.
Showed little in first three starts and was last of 11 at Wolverhampton on handicap bow latest over 1m4f. 4lb ease not likely to make much difference.
Maiden but knocking loudly at the door after three straight seconds including here. Collared in last stride latest at Salisbury latest over 1m4f and makes plenty of appeal to go one better with only a 1lb rise for that.
Only beat one rival in his three novice starts and beaten 13L or more in them. Slightly longer trip here and moderate level to help but still hard to fancy.
Comfortably her best effort to date latest when a never nearer sixth of 12 here from 4lb out of the handicap over 7f. Interesting that she goes up to this trip then although on pedigree she's uncertain to last it out.
Upped 3f today but beaten 17L latest at Redcar and that was a similar level to what she registered at two. Will need a giant step forward here.
Forecasts
Bonneville (1/1), Spargrove (5/2), Glutnforpunishment (9/2), Jean Merci (14/1), Enyama (22/1), Golden Grenade (25/1), Juals Spirit (33/1), Northern Footsteps (50/1)
The best form on offer undoubtedly belongs to BONNEVILLE and after getting pegged back right on the line latest he is fancied to make amends today, especially given he has run here also during his recent good run. Several of these go up quite drastically in trip and Spargrove and Jean Merci look the most likely to be transformed by it.
- Bonneville
- Spargrove
- Jean Merci
