Son of Mayson improved from his debut when third at Lingfield and ran to a similar level at Southwell. Gelded, first-time blinkers added and up in trip on handicap debut. Opening mark looks fair and could be competitive.
By St Leger winner Sixties Icon and a brother to 6f-7f winner Juventas and half-brother to multiple winners. Well held in trio of maidens, all with give in the ground. Back from break for three-year-old/handicap bow. Stable a bit quiet of late.
Sea The Moon gelding improved on his final run last year and took his form to a new level with a dominant win over this C&D on his season reappearance. Stable flying at present and may be hard to stop under a 6lb penalty.
€28,000 Jukebox Jury colt who failed to beat a rival home of first two runs and tailed off at Haydock latest. Well bred and may improve now up in trip on handicap debut but will need to.
Irish raider. Gelded son of Joshua Tree out of a Daylami mare. Some improvement at Tipperary on his third start and now makes British and handicap debut. Improvement though needed off an opening mark that doesn't appeal.
Kitten's Joy colt out of a mare that won over 7f on the AW. First-time cheekpieces added but form has been going backwards since his first start and a lot more needed on handicap debut. Others preferred.
Four runs in Ireland last year with a best being a sixth in a Roscommon maiden. No signs off promise though in three well beaten handicap starts for new stable. Down a further 7lb but still hard to fancy.
Forecasts
Moon King (8/15), Earl Of Harrow (6/1), Ydra (8/1), Nordano (12/1), Nobel Joshua (16/1), West Newton (25/1), Champagne Marengo (66/1)
MOON KING represents a stable in great form at present and won with such style over this C&D that he must be hard to oppose with questions against a number of his rivals. Ydra is at least moving in the right direction ahead of this handicap debut while the market is best checking as to whether better is expected from either Nordano and Earl Of Harrow.
