Cloudings gelding who seemed to be going well 2 out on debut before getting tired and fading. Will know more about the job now and could put up a decent display.
Yard 1-3 with bumper runners at this track and this €35,000 French bred gelding is related to a number of fair winners on his dam's side. Interesting to note any support for him on this racecourse bow.
Cost £72,000 last May after winning a point and has shown some ability on both starts so far in this sphere, including when runner-up in minor event over C&D in March. This looks better race but there could be more to come in first time tongue-tie.
French bred half-brother to a Carlisle bumper winner. Yard know how to ready one for debut but possible that stable companion Story Of Friends if the more likely of the two on their respective racecourse debuts. Betting may help with more clues.
Trainer long associated with this family that has produced some fair performers along the way. Looked very green on racecourse bow at Ludlow recently suggesting he probably needs a little more time.
£60,000 Oscar gelding makes his racecourse bow for top yard tha has a 14% strike rate at this track. Market may well provide good guide as to expectations.
€70,000 American bred Declaration of War gelding. Dam half-sister to US Grade 2 Flat winner. Appears to have potentially more pace than most of his rivals on pedigree but has to prove he'll see out this trip.
Eastern Anthem half-sister to two hurdle winners. Progressed from first run to second when fourth at Tauton last time, staying on. This looks a stronger heat but appears to be at least moving in the right direction.
Half-sister to three individual hurdles winner and that most likely to be her game in due course. Yard does well here but not known for bumper winners so, on balance, others are preferred.
Bargain basement £800 daughter of good stayer Vinnie Roe; dam unraced half-sister to useful chaser Shining Gale. Wears hood for first time having cut little ice when tailed off on racecouse debut in Taunton bumper.
Daughter of high-class stayer Yeats but looked of limited ability on debut when soon tailed off and finished distant last of nine in Taunton bumper. Looks up against once again.

Forecasts
Story Of Friends (13/8), Echo Du Large (11/4), Rectory Oak (4/1), Mario De Pail (9/2), Foggy Creek (7/1), Huccaby (11/1), Fu Fu (12/1), Cloud Formation (20/1), Twilight War (25/1), Havacuppa (33/1), Jaunty Viking (40/1), Mizz Moondance (66/1), Vinnie's Icon (100/1)
CLOUD FORMATION took the eye travelling well for much of the way on debut before getting tired. He'll be more streetwise now and may be good enough to land the spoils. There are plenty of potential dangers, with the likes of Story of Friends and Mario De Pail already having shown some ability. Newcomers Echo Du Large, Rectory Oak and Twilight War all have interesting pedigrees so a move in the betting in their favour would be worth taking account.
- Cloud Formation
- Mario De Pail
- Twilight War
