Won AW bumpers at Kempton and Lingfield. 7th in Huntingdon listed bumper but outclassed at Aintree last tmie in Grade 2 affair. Hurdles bow for last year's winning team and should make a very bold bid.
Fair second in Ludlow novice hurdle penultimate start but ran below-par at same venue when racing with first time tongue-tie. That has been dispensed with and has a chance if putting last effort behind her.
Landed 2m AW handicap at Lingfield in December so clearly stays very well. Returns after 11-week break for hurdles bow and wouldn't have to be a world beater in this sphere to make her presence felt. Might prefer more of a stamina test though.
Won Leicester 1m2f handicap off mark of 72 last August for Hughie Morrison, and sold to current yard for modest £10,000. Creditable efforts both starts over hurdles and not beaten far when runner-up at Huntingdon last time.
Forecasts
Giving Back (1/1), Bossiney Bay (11/4), Jaunty Soria (3/1), Nafaayes (25/1)
A trappy opening event in which it is hard to rule out any of the quartet, but Alan King won this last year and his decent bumper performer GIVING BACK is fancied to open her hurdles account here at the first time of asking. Bossiney Bay may prove the main danger following a solid run last time, while Nafaayes won't lack for stamina having won over this far on the level. Jaunty Soria needs to leave behind her disappointing latest effort if she is to figure.
- Giving Back
- Bossiney Bay
- Nafaayes
