Bought for £60,000 after winning point-to-point for current yard and has placed in both bumpers so far. First start now following wind surgery and makes hurdling bow so is of some interest.
Shown ability on all four starts over hurdles, including last time when runner-up over 2m4f at Wincanton. Reverts to minimum trip and represnts top team so should be there or thereabouts.
Ran with credit most starts in Ireland and makes debut here for new connections following eight month absence. Yard capable of getting one ready so well worth a market check for any signs of confidence.
Poor form between the flags and pulled up on two previous attempts under Rules. Very hard to enthuse over and easy to dismiss.
Good fourth in Sandown bumper in November before outclassed in listed event next time. May have needed run when fourth in Stratford bumper last time on first start since wind surgery. Fair chance if taking to hurdles.
Finished last on both appearances to date, one in a bumper and the other in a three-runner novice hurdle when well beaten. Much more needed if he is to figure here.
£215,000 purchase after running away with Irish bumper on debut. Good second at Huntingdon in February maiden hurdle but only fifth of nine here last time when faded after blundering 3 out. Open to improvement and shouldn't be far away this time.
Showed nothing in two bumpers but did a little better when mid-division finisher over C&D last time on hurdles bow. Hard to see him wining but may take another step forward.
Fine fourth in listed bumper on debut in January 2018 when trained by Robert Stephens. Found one two good in two bumpers for new connections in November and finished modest fifth at Plumpton last time. Hurdles bow here and should be on the premises.
Forecasts
Colditz Castle (6/4), Buck's Bin's (7/2), Simply Loveleh (5/1), Lock's Corner (11/2), Dancing In The Sky (6/1), Golden Taipan (16/1), Just Marvin (50/1), Dublin Indemnity (100/1), Galtee Mountain (150/1)
Quite a few here with questions to answer. This stiffer track may suit BUCK'S BIN'S on hurdling bow having been a little outpaced at Ludlow in bumpers, and he gets the nod. Simply Loveleh could make them all go if she takes to timber although she has been a little disappointing of late, while the eye is drawen to the £215,000 price tag of Lock's Corner who should win races but may need more of a stamina test. Colditz Castle is respected, while Golden Taipan and Dancing In The Sky may get involved too in a trappy affair.
- Buck's Bin's
- Golden Taipan
