This will be just his sixth start (already with his third yard) but is still unexposed in handicaps (this will be just his third attempt in this sphere). Improved last time (first run for this yard) when neck second at Windsor (1m2f); leading player.
Failed to win for Marcus Tregonning (0-7) and for the most part showed little in handicaps for that yard (tried in headgear the last twice). Seasonal/stable debut off a career-low mark but more needed than he's shown so far.
Been in rude health of late completing a 10 day hat-trick on the AW/turf at up to 1m4f, the last win coming off a 6lb lower mark. Busy spell appeared to have caught up with him last time (dropped away quickly); doubts about him bouncing back.
Fair handicapper on his day but it's been a long time between drinks with him on most occasions (last win came in March 2018). Three runs so far this year (slipped back below his last winning mark); blinkers that lit him up last time dispensed with.
Continues to fall in the weights (down to a career-low mark) but with little sign of taking advantage the change of yard not having rejuvenated him at all. Has been running over shorter of late on the AW; reverts to turf, needs to show some spark.
6lb out of the handicap and in a much tougher grade than usual (last three runs in 0-50/0-55 company); shown little to make him of interest in his last two starts. Can be slow away, blinkers left off, worth another try at this trip; limited appeal.

Forecasts
Contingency Fee (2/1), Simbirsk (3/1), Champs De Reves (4/1), The Eagle's Nest (9/2), Maroc (9/2), Zephyros (11/2), Brecqhou Island (14/1), One Liner (28/1)
Most of these are fairly exposed with the exception of SIMBIRSK who made a very sound start to his career with John O’Shea when finishing second at Windsor the 3lb rise he’s been given for that effort looks more than fair. Maroc isn’t one to totally rely on but at this level and on his first start since a wind op he has to be respected. Brecqhou Island comes here on the back of a decent effort and a more evenly/soundly run race would suit him far better. Contingency Fee has been in rude health of late but hit the buffers last time when the busy spell appeared to have caught up with him although he encounters a different surface now.
- Simbirsk
- Maroc
- Brecqhou Island
