Won't lack for experience (had four races already); ran his best race last time (beaten short-head at Leicester). Often makes the running and this sharp 5f should suit with the visor going on first-time, bold show in the offing.

15,000 guineas foal from a top-class yard who have already had first-time out juvenile winners this year (2-13). Dam juvenile 7f winner (half-sister to useful winner up to 1m Sharnberry); likely to be ready for this, worth a market check.

Price rose to £32,000 as a juvenile (Breeze-up purchase); speedily-bred sort who offered something to work on from her debut (5f, Southwell). Chased home two with far more experience on that occasion; can only improve from that experience.

Comes from a useful family; dam 6f winner, half-sister to 6f/7f winner Dutch Destiny out of 6f Listed winner. Easy to back on AW (Lingfield) debut; drawn wide and only showed some modest form (Heer We Go Again third); winner/second won again since.

50-1 and finished last of five on debut but showed some ability on debut (in need of the experience). Yard not known for juvenile winners (only two in past five years); has some longer-term potential, may be one for nurseries in time.

On pedigree she looks a speedy sort but showed very little on her debut (apart from inexperience) to beat just one home at Newbury. Little to get excited about in that display; would need to take a big step forward to figure in this.

Verdict

The standard in form and experience terms is set by Heer We Go Again but he might have missed his chance of winning a race for now with FORCED chosen to reverse her debut form with David Evans charge. The Richard Hughes yard have a poor record with their newcomers and the daughter of Lethal Force is expected to know more this time. The newcomer Perregrin comes from a stable that are no stranger to debut winner (have a decent record here) and he’s worth a second glance especially if the market vibes are positive. Elevate Her is another who should be able to step forward from her debut run without troubling the principals.
