Zoffany filly whose dam won at 1m2f. Yard 1-32 in 3yo contests and likelihood is she may well improve for this debut experience.
Down the field on both 7f novice stakes outings last term and looks the type who will be better once handicapped. Yard ticking along steadily but would be a surprise winner.
Well related daughter of Iffraaj. Half-sister won German 1000 Guineas. Didn't show much at all in two outings as a juvenile and this 67,000 guineas purchase needs to take a big step forward this term to justify her price.
Has shown nothing in four starts to date at long odds at up to 7f and appears to have a mountain to climb in this company. Not hard to look elsewhere.
Yard going through a lean spell but is 1-2 with runners at this track. Has placed three times from seven starts, including in handicap company. Returns from four-month break and shouldn't be at all far away.
Daughter of Declaration of War who cost just 12,000 guineas. Shown promise on two of her three starts, but disappointed when only fourth when warm favourite at Wolverhampton last month. Good yard has 27% strike rate here.
Sea The Moon half-sister to five winners. Fair fifth on debut over C&D last summer, and while it's a little disconcerting that she hans't been seen since, with that experience to draw on she could be the one to beat this time around.
Forecasts
Nooshin (8/11), Shaqwar (5/2), Material Girl (9/2), Keska (25/1), Hasili Filly (40/1), Hunterwali (50/1), Kyllachy Princess (100/1)
SHAQWAR did enough on debut over C&D last year to suggest she is up to winning a race of this nature if she is fit and well and is a fairly confident choice. If Nooshin can put behind her a modest effort at Wolverhampton last time she would be a danger, while Material Girl is the yardstick by which to judge the other two fillies being an established 73-rated handicapper. It's hard to get too excited at this stage about any of the other four.
- Shaqwar
- Nooshin
- Material Girl
