Still getting the hang of the Cross Country puzzles when finishing fourth of 15 beaten 26L behind Tiger Roll in the Cheltenham festival. Others hold stronger claims.
Placed in the La Touche on Thursday finishing 29L behind Ballybroker Bridge. Won this contest last year after running a similar race two days earlier, 12 months ago.
Defied age and an unseat when landing a Downpatrick 2m7½f handicap chase in October but has seen his form on the slide ever since. Hard to see the veteran making any impact here.
Winner of the opening race of the festival on Tuesday landing the Cross Country chase by 3¾L ahead of Youcannotbeserious. Another bold show looks to be on the cards.
Second behind Josie's Orders in this contest 12 months ago and when last seen in the P P Hogan over C&D in February. Could be the right time for the Westerner gelding to start improving.
Dual point-to-point winner, and not disgraced in face of a stiff task when 36L seventh of 16 to Josies Orders in P P Hogan Memorial on chasing debut in February before finishing fourth of 17 beaten 17L on Tuesday. Place claims.

Forecasts
Josies Orders (5/2), Blue Templar (11/4), Ballycasey (10/3), Hurricane Darwin (10/3), Ballinasilla (12/1), Singing Banjo (20/1), Enniskillen (20/1), An Rinceoir Alainn (25/1), Ballyfinboy (50/1), Fergiethelegend (50/1)
Josie's Orders won here 12 months ago following the gelding finishing in the frame in the La Touche. The 11-year-old finished third of nine in that contest on Thursday and is likely to take some beating here. But it could be a changing of the guard as BLUE TEMPLAR can follow up on his success over C&D in the opening contest of the meeting on Tuesday. The eight-year-old can progress in this contest at the expense of Hurricane Darwin and An Rinceoir Alainn who is better than her performance over C&D on Tuesday for trainer Peter Maher.
- Blue Templar
- Josies Orders
- Hurricane Darwin
