Dual handicap winner last year at up to 1¾m who displayed the odd quirk when winning. Excuses on final start, and possibly needed the run on her return, but well held in the end, and must do better.
Similar form in three starts last year, winning a 1½m Kempton novice in September, and running at least as well under a penalty there next time. Yard does well with similar types, and she should progress, for all she needs to.
Thrown in at the deep end at Goodwood on handicap bow, and appreciated the easier task when winning over 1½m at Newcastle in August. Just 2lb higher now, although placed horses have not done much for the form.
Won over 1m3f at Kempton in February, and excuses for defeats there since, slowly away next time, and badly hampered on latest start. Won off a higher mark on fast turf last year, and talented claimer booked now. Interesting.
Won at Pontefract last year and good neck second of 9 to subsequent winner Archive in apprentice handicap there last time. Well treated off 1lb higher if as effective here.
Won a novice over 7f here last summer, and similar form in nurseries at around that trip subsequently. Takes a big hike in trip, and mixed message in her pedigree regarding stamina, so market best guide.
Full-sister to 1¼m winner Gododdin, and improved on her juvenile form when winning a 1¼m maiden at Newbury last month. Unexposed, and bred to stay this trip, so needs respect.
Forecasts
Katiesheidinlisa (2/1), Quicksand (11/4), Aussie View (11/2), Miss Latin (15/2), Amourice (8/1), Voi (10/1), Sempre Presto (12/1)
KATIESHEIDINLISA improved to win a maiden over ten furlongs at Newbury, and while that form isn't the easieest to weigh up, she is bred to be smart, and could easily be ahead of her mark. Sempre Presto is well treated having finished a close second to a subsequent winner last time, while Vol has had excuses since winning at Kempton in February, and is on a fair mark based on last year's turf form.
