Took three good handicaps last year the final one a 0-90 affair off a 3lb lower mark. Gradually working his way up to speed this year (ran over 1m last time); now makes his Tapeta/AW debut back to 1m2f, looks a leading player.
Looks a typical improver from this yard with his handicap debut being blighted by a series of in-running problems (hampered numerous times). Did look as though he needed the outing though; makes AW debut off the same mark, shortlist material.
C&D winner who wears a hood for the first-time having been well supported on his return over 1m4f at Thirsk. Despite his strength in the market he proved disappointing (ran too free); on a recovery mission here.
Lightly-raced four-year-old who makes his AW/handicap debut having had just one run last year over 1m3f (ran too free to do himself justice). Stable 4-6 with handicap debutantes of this age so clearly one who is worth watching in the market.
Dual winner in AW handicaps last year handling the Tapeta well at Wolverhampton and following up at Kempton over 2f further. Ran poorly when last seen though back on turf so now has an absence to overcome making her debut for a new yard.
Course winner over 1m who enjoyed a consistent time last year recording back-to-back handicap victories at Beverley the second over this trip. No great record fresh though and this pay grade may be a little too taxing for him.

Sir Michael Stoute has a near 19% strike-rate with his four-year-old handicappers and SHAREEF STAR looks as though he can improve that percentage having been faced with a tortuous passage on his handicap debut at Doncaster finishing seventh but worthy of a much better placing. It won’t be an easy race for him though as he faces stiff opposition in the shape of Delph Crescent and Regal Director from a yard that have done well with their older handicap debutantes in the North East. Dommersen has a trio of runner-up slots to his name here and is sure to run his race (can look a little awkward) but giving weight to some improving types won’t be easy.
