In great form on the AW this year with three wins. Not disgraced at Wolverhampton latest and still feasibly handicapped on old form. Can go well.
In decent form in three starts for new yard and likely to be thereabouts again. Both wins though have come on very fast ground.
Just 1lb higher than last win which came over this C&D. Disappointing at Beverley latest but could be better for two runs back.
Back on last winning mark when beating Musharrif a short-head in September. Not in same form this season and would appreciate plenty of rain.
Fourth behind Zapper Cass at Wolverhampton on reappearance and handicapper giving her a chance on return to turf, however soft ground would prove ideal.
Remains 2lb higher than the last of three wins last year but proved better for her reappearance when an eye-catching fifth at Windsor. Held her form well last year and could be one to follow down in grade.
Veteran now 2lb lower than when winning over this C&D this time last year. Disappointing on his reappearance but he won second up last season and could bounce back.
Form has gone steadily backwards since Redcar win off 2lb lower last May and needs to leave a poor reappearance behind.
Possesses 15 career wins and has posted four solid efforts since joining this yard. Remains a bit high in the weights and while he can be competitive again, another win may come in a lesser grade.
3lb lower now than when winning this last year and has got too far back in two starts this year. Could go close with a better break for yard hitting form.
On a workable mark and shaped well on reappearance over this C&D. Could be competitive with the run behind him with any rain a major plus.
Forecasts
Foxtrot Knight (11/4), Musharrif (9/2), Nibras Again (9/2), Peggie Sue (7/1), Dandy's Beano (8/1), Rickyroadboy (10/1), Deeds Not Words (12/1), Zapper Cass (16/1), Van Gerwen (25/1), One Boy (25/1), B Fifty Two (50/1)
With a better break Foxtrot Knight should give a good account in a race he won last year. PEGGIE SUE was travelling powerfully last start before being denied a run at a crucial stage and is one to keep on the right side of when she hits form. Zapper Cass has been in flying form on the AW and rates an obvious challenger.
- Peggie Sue
- Foxtrot Knight
- Zapper Cass
