Front-runner remains just 2lb higher than last win over this distance and not far off that level behind a clear winner on reappearance. Should be better for the run and make a bold bid.
2lb higher than when winning over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton in February but below that in two runs since and would ideally prefer a softer surface.
On last winning mark and has his conditions to suit. Placed over 1m4f here two starts back although below that last start. Place possibilities if bouncing back.
Sole win came off this mark over a mile here and shaped with promise on reappearance following wind surgery. Stamina to prove still at this trip and would prefer softer ground.
Six-race maiden for Clive Cox last year running to a consistent level without improving. Given a chance by the handicapper on her return and stable debut and could be involved.
4lb higher than sole win over a mile here and others better handicapped on season reappearance. Rain would help but stamina still to prove at this far.
Now 2lb lower than sole win for Alan King but left first two runs for new yard behind when an unlucky third over this trip at Redcar. Well handicapped and likely to go well.
Losing run stretches back to 2016 despite falling handicap mark. Not disgraced on reappearance following wind surgery but this is tougher and failed to impress on previous try at this far.
On a fair mark but all winning form has come in lesser company and may need the run on season reappearance. Others preferred.
Finished off 2017 with a win off 4lb higher but returned from a 468-day absence with two poor runs this year. Best watched at present.
Forecasts
Ideal Candy (2/1), Bit Of A Quirke (9/2), Regular Income (6/1), Seaborough (8/1), Jo's Girl (8/1), Rock Island Line (11/1), Verdigris (12/1), Frankster (16/1), Ronnie The Rooster (20/1), Metronomic (50/1)
Ideal Candy should ensure a decent tempo and be better for her reappearance while Verdigris is interesting on debut for a stable hitting form. SEABOROUGH could have won if getting a clear run on his third start for his new yard and remains the best handicapped in the field.
- Seaborough
- Ideal Candy
- Verdigris
