Has a speedy pedigree and he built on his debut promise on the turf at Windsor to score on the AW at Chelmsford. Showed a good turn of foot last time which allied to his experience will prove useful here as he bids to defy a penalty.

Fared best of the newcomers on debut on the AW at Kempton although he left the impression he would be better with this experience behind him. Trainer has a near 19% strike-rate with his second-time out juveniles since 2015; leading contender.

Yard are flying with their juveniles this season but this looks one of the lesser light in this age group. Two runs so far have yielded very little although he did learn from his debut; would need to show marked improvement to win this.

Speedily bred individual who showed ability on her debut at Windsor finishing fifth to a well-backed favourite (form basically untested as yet). May not have been seen at her best (raced wide) but should improve for the run.

Newcomer with a pedigree that she'll need further (only cost £800 as a yearling). Trainer 0-23 with juveniles in the past five years and this one can only be watched on debut.
£2,000 yearling; sister to a winner at up to 1m (Swiss Bank) and half-sister to a couple of winners including Miss Inga Sock (winner for this yard). Trainer has a near 7% strike-rate with newcomers; stables first juvenile this season ran well last we

€3,000 yearling out of a fair dam (winner at up to 1m2f; 6f two-year-old winner). Yard have a fair 13% strike-rate with first-time out juveniles (4-20 here). 3-11 with juveniles so far this year and has to be respected especially if supported.

Forecasts

Audio (13/8), Brazen Safa (9/4), Copacabana Dancer (6/1), Miss Matterhorn (9/1), Village Rock (10/1), Baileys Freedom (14/1), Rose Of Kildare (16/1), Escape To Oz (40/1)

Verdict

Apart from the Mark Johnston runner – Rose Of Kildare the newcomers look up against it here with the experience of the quartet that have had a run already proving too much for them. AUDIO didn’t have the know how to cope with two who had already had an outing on his debut but that will have stood him in good stead and his yard have a good record now with their juveniles that have had a run. Copacabana Dancer showed the benefit of a run when scoring last time but he’ll need to be smart to concede weight to the entire field. That leaves the Michael Bell filly Brazen Safa as a danger give the promise she showed on her first run at Windsor.
