Cheaply bought Teofilo filly with lovely pedigree, her dam being full-sister to 2000 Guineas winner Haafhd. Showed ability on debut at Pontefract last October in race that has worked out well (fourth-placed Matterhorn win Easter Classic).
Yard in terrific form (33% current strike rate) and showed ability on both starts last term when second on each occasion in Nottingham mile maiden contests. Looks sure to win races and is major contender.
Sea The Stars filly whose dam is half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner Hunter's Light. Yard won this event last year. Lost out by just a neck to stable companion on only start to date at Yarmouth in October and looks type to win races this term.
Pour Moi filly who showed a little promsie when unplaced over 7f on debut at Newcastle in October but showed little to write home about at long odds in Redcar 1m2f novice stakes last time.
Dalakhani filly who was hooded for debut at Newbury earlier this month and not disgraced in finishing distant fourth behind possible Oaks contender on soft ground. Should have learned plenty and likely to take a step forward here on better ground.
Nicely bred Intello filly related to a couple of fair winners. Yard won this last term but appears second-string on jockey bookings. Market should guide as to expectations.
Oasis Dream filly cost just 7,600 guineas and is out of dam who won at up to 1m4f. Yard without a winner on turf this year and may be better for this first racecourese experience.
Good effort when 40/1 third on debut over 7f at Newcastle last month, but less impressive when well beaten at Redcar recently. Steps up 3f in trip and should win a race or two but this looks a tough task.
100,000 guineas Camelot filly who looked very green and was slowly to jump away when finishing a long last of 11 on only start so far at Newbury (1m2f). Hails from top yard but will need to have come on a ton to figure.
War Command filly whose dam has produced winners at 1m4f and 2m. Never in the hunt when well beaten on debut at Doncaster in March and likely to need more time before we see the best of her.
Sixties Icon filly whose dam was a winning 2m hurdler. Pedigree suggests she'll needed further than this and showed little when beating only one home at Redcar recently on racecourse bow.
Forecasts
Fanny Logan (2/7), Dorah (4/1), Inference (6/1), Happy Hiker (16/1), Tarbeyah (20/1), Soloist (20/1), Paradise Papers (40/1), Kostantina (50/1), Feebi (125/1), War Empress (150/1), Yasmin From York (200/1)
A decent contest in which preference is marginally for FANNY LOGAN who hails from the yard that sent out the winner of this race 12 months ago. She failed by just a neck on her only previous appearance and this beautifully bred filly may prove good enough this time. Dorah should be very much on the premises having finished second on both starts as a juvenile, while Happy Hiker ran a promising race on debut at Newbury and will know more now. The only four-year-old in the field, Tarbeyah, ran a fine race on her only previous start and should win races, but the concesssion of 17lb all round is no easy task.
