Ex-Andrew Balding-trained Flat winner, rated 102 on the level. Has hit the frame in a number of starts this month including when finishing a promising third of 24 beaten 1¼L in a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle on Tuesday. Sould be a leading player.
Won three times on the Flat for Hugo Palmer (OR 81), the latest at Catterick (1m4f, good) in October, after which he changed hands for 34,000gns. More needed after pulling up at Gowran Park in February on hurdling debut.
One from seven on the Flat when in the care of trainer Jim Bolger. Hard to fancy following tailing off on debut in a Ballinrobe maiden hurdle earlier this month.
Gelding by Dylan Thomas out of a Glacial Storm mare. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner Macs Supreme. Market likely to be the best guide on debut.
Gelding by Bonbon Rose out of a Urgent Request mare. Cost €800 as a three-year-old. Dam unraced half-sister 2m 2m1f hurdle/chase winner Tchico Polos and French 2m 2m3f hurdle/chase winner Clac De Livet. East to look elsewhere on debut.
Gelding by Balko out of a Officiel mare. Half-brother to French 2m3f hurdle winner Antiseptique. Promising second of 11 beaten ¾L on stable debut in a Wexford maiden hurdle over 2m last month. One for the shortlist.
Gelding by Zambezi Sun out of a Duke Of Marmalade mare. Sent off at odds of 100/1 on debut in a Cork maiden hurdle earlier this month, running accordingly to finish 13th of 16 beaten 42L. First time tongue unlikely to bring about required progress.
Son of Golden Tornado out of a Roselier mare. Not sold as a yearling - €145,000. Dam unplaced 1m2f - 13.5f in France, half-sister to Group 1 winners Sagamix and Sagacity. Yard out of form and best watched on debut.
Formerly with Archie Watson and David O'Meara the Elusive Quality gelding has been well held in a number of dismal efforts on the Flat since joining current connections. Others preferred for win purposes on hurdling debut.
21-race maiden, best rated 62 on the Flat for trainer David Marnane. Well held 20L on stable debut at Dundalk on the AW earlier this month. Unlikely to play a part in the finish on hurdling debut.
Approve gelding out of a Groom Dancer mare. Cost €10,000 as a juvenile. Looks modest based on two Flat runs for previous handler before a number of heavy defeats over hurdles including failing to complete on two occasions last month.
Elusive Pimpernel colt who cost only €2,000 as a yearling, wide-margin defeat in three Flat runs during 2017/18; unappealing hurdling debutant.
Dandy Man filly with modest record in ten starts on the Flat. Well beaten never nearer in a couple of maiden hurdle starts recently and has shown little aptitude in previous starts to be considered in this company.
First Reserve: Rule Of Law gelding out of a Well Chosen mare. Dam unraced half-sister to US stakes winner Catz out of 5f two-year-old winner.

The recent hurdle form of LETHAL STEPS can confirm the standard of his solid looking official rating in this contest. The gelding kept on under a hands and heels ride to finish third of 24 at Fairyhouse on Tuesday and can improve sufficiently to see off the probable challenge of Liz Doyle's Wexford runner up, Cobaltic. Morning Skye, Dreamy Leamy and Mister H look the best of a weak looking bunch.
